This is a very soft finely spun lightweight cotton fabric. It is said that, a finely spun “Mulmul” is so soft and fine, that the fabric can pass through a finger ring. And that is not an exaggeration. The finest type of muslin is known as mulmul. It is also known by different names such as “Mull”, “or Malmal”
MulMul cotton material was used by the royal and aristocratic families in India during the British rule. Later, it became popular with affluent society in the country and considered to be a high class fabric. It is also a sustainable fabric meaning the material used in its production are Eco-friendly and organic. Unlike most of the fabrics, this delicately woven fabric has a wonderful fall or drape.
