This surf n sand sari silk ribbon yarn is perfect for all your craft needs. The color of this recycled yarn reminds of cool beach and so it is named “Surf and Sand”. I have recycled a cotton/ silk/ polyester blend sari to make this beautiful craft yarn.
I used stripes of different colored ribbons in a systematic manner starting with each unique soft pastel colors like azure blue, beige, teal, pink & thulian pink. I meticulously cut these strips with my own hands from long sarees one at a time. These fair trade sari ribbon yarn are made from remnant but new fabric from my collection. That is why sometimes I mention it as recycled sari yarn.

I have kept the edges of this sari ribbon yarn raw or unfinished intentionally to give it an organic look. I feel it adds a certain mystic & give a wild touch to this art yarn. It gives me a happy feeling just looking at it!
