This Iris Flower Silk Sari Ribbon Yarn is inspired by the bright and vibrant colors of the Iris flower and so I call it “Iris”.
In ancient Greece mythology, the goddess Iris is considered the connection between the heaven and the earth. In flower language, Iris symbolizes hope, faith, wisdom and courage as per its color. Its meanings makes it perfect choice for gift giving to someone you care about. Iris is also the state flower of Tennessee, and the Fleur-de-lis is the emblem for the city of New Orleans, USA.
