Story Sundays – Halloween Monster
Welcome to “Story Sundays”. This Sunday, I will tell you the story of the making of Halloween Monster, a crochet hat design that is scarily cute. :)
October is the month where all things halloween emerge from within and beyond. Yup! I created this design in October 2010. I wanted to create a design, something that can be worn on Halloween, is a bit scary yet infinitely adorable. Who doesn’t love a cute moster, right?
Fast backward in the past, sketching a design in my diary, searching feverantly in my hoard stash for that perfect color of yarn. Viola! I found red, a color for danger, lol. A perfect halloween color, I think.
At first, I made this design keeping in mind, children. Imagine, a child, walking up to your doorstep for a trick or treat dressed as a monster. You won’t be able to resist giving a treat or face the wrath of monsters beyond, hehehe. :P
