The fabric design is inspired by warli painting of India. The Warlis or Varlis are an indigenous tribe or Adivasis, living in mountainous as well as coastal areas of Maharashtra-Gujarat border of India. The design is also in traditional block print design which is repetitive on the entire fabric.

Interesting facts: The Warlis have their own spiritual beliefs, life, customs and traditions, as a result of cultural change that they have adopted from many Hindu beliefs. The Warlis speak an unwritten Varli language which belong to the southern zone of the Indo-Aryan languages.
Their undeveloped wall paintings use a very basic graphic vocabulary: a circle, a triangle and a square. Their paintings were monosyllabic. These geometric figures come from their observation of nature, the circle representing the sun and the moon, the triangle derived from mountains and pointed trees.
